RADICAL WOMEN

The celebrated international exhibition ‘Radical Women’ showcases the works of female Latin-American artists who used their art to fight against sexism, misogyny and other forms of oppression during a dark period of censorship and dictatorships, between 1960-1985. Some of them are recognized as precursors of important photography and video art techniques. Organized by the Hammer Museum of Los Angeles, Racical Women also showed at the Brooklyn Museum and Pina, in Brazil.
